Help Us Keep the Public Piano Project Alive and Vibrant

It takes a dedicated network of professionals, volunteers, and partners to bring music and art into our communities. Below are the key roles we rely on to keep the project running smoothly and sustainably.

Piano Movers

Who we need: Professional piano moving companies with the equipment and experience to safely transport upright pianos.
Why it matters: Moving pianos requires skill, coordination, and care. Reliable transportation ensures instruments arrive safely at their destination, whether it’s storage or a public site.

Piano Tuners

Who we need: Certified or experienced piano tuners.
Why it matters: Pianos must stay in tune and playable while outdoors

Project Coordinators

Who we need: Community-minded organizers who can assist with scheduling, communications, and logistics.
Why it matters: Each piano involves planning—from artist coordination to delivery, permits, and community outreach.

Marketing & Outreach

Who we need: People with experience in social media, online marketing, press releases, or fundraising.
Why it matters: The more people who hear about the project, the more support, awareness, and joy we can generate.

Photographers & Videographers

Who we need: Creatives who can document installations, events, and artwork.
Why it matters: Great visuals help tell our story and inspire others to get involved.

Piano Stewards

Who we need: Volunteers to check in on assigned pianos regularly.
Why it matters: A quick check-in helps us catch damage, vandalism, or tuning needs early, keeping pianos safe and playable.

Warehousing & Storage Support

Who we need: Commercial property owners with access to secure, dry, and professional-grade storage or warehouse space during the off-season.

 Paint & Material Sponsors

Who we need: Companies or suppliers willing to donate paint, brushes, sealants, Vinyl and or other materials used in piano design.

Why it matters: Every painted piano is a canvas for creativity and community expression. Your support helps artists bring those designs to life.
